15th september 2006
me, heiman and mabel
had our overnight stay
at east coast
around 11pm
started our night bike
together with a bunch of
5 "old" men
whom we dunno
hahs
coz they are also
having night bike
so we might as well follow them
as it'll be better and safer
rather than cycling alone
our destination
was cycling from
east coast
all the way
to changi village
...
duration was about
3 - 4 hours long
when everyone was ready
the journey started..
need to cycle a long way
before reaching the main road
really tiring
by the time
we reached the main road
it's about 12.20am bah
there wasn't much cars
in the road
but
for saftey purposes
we still have to keep left
in single file
it's really scary
to cycle on the road
coz cars are driving past you
fast and near
sigh
...

stopped at different places
to rest and drink water
to replenish our energy
arrr
i'm already half dead le
no more energy left
but bo bian la
have to carry on
no matter what
JIA YOU!!

during the journey
had lotas fun
and laughter
hahs
...
then we reached
CHANGI AIRPORT
saw lotas planes
arriving and departing
creating loud sounds
but it's really shiok sia
cycling together with the planes
...
went to the nearest kopithiam to eat
later
we continued to cycle
stopped at a place
somewhere like a haunted house
someone suggested going in
to explore
but
i was really scared
so i waited outside for them instead
together with an "old" guy
heiman and mabel
went in too
waited and waited
they came out finally
somehow they seem very quiet
think there should be
something not right
so i didn't ask too much
and continued out journey

during the journey
mabel keep falling off
her bike
aiyo
part of the reason was
because of me la
hahs
sigh
coz i keep slowing down
due to my bike's gear
didnt' adjust it properly
so having trouble paddling it

2 things that i experienced
during the journey

1. on the road
there's 2 lanes
one is for the cars to go straight
while the other
is for cars to turn left
i am supposed to go straight
then there's one taxi
going to turn left
so it's either
i let the taxi go left first
or i cycle straight first
since the taxi is still far away
so i decided to cycle straight fast
before the taxi come
but
the taxi turn so fast to the left
and i was nearly knocked down
sigh
from far
i can hear heiman
shouting at me
ARRRR

2. i was cycling on the roads
between those buildings
then a big truck drove in
i was cycling beside it
later the truck stopped
and i dunno where to go
so i stopped behind the truck
who knows
think the driver didnt saw me
the truck suddenly starts reversing
damn shocked sia
lucky i didnt just stay there
blankly
but moved away
if not i'll be lying in hospital now

after those incidents
i keep thinking
what if i was really knocked down by them?
sigh
...
till now
i really cant forget
what had happened to me
this should be the
scariest experience
i ever encountered bah
so i'm really glad
to be alive now

returned our bikes
at 7 am
then went home to rest
slept on the bus
but somehow
keep thinking of the scary incidents
sigh
reached home around 9am
bath
brush my teeth
went to sleep
hahs
wake up at 4.30pm
coz i am very hungry
so get up hunting for food
will i go night bike next time?
