FIRST GRAND MAGIC PERFORMANCE
at TRCC

saw lotsa friends
coming to support us
lotsa thanks to:

and many many lars

actually
personally i think that
today is quite rush
as everyone had lessons in the morning
and after school
some of the still have UTs
when UT ended
it is already 5pm
reached TRCC
still need to prepare stuffs and others
ended up
when we are trying to have our last rehearsal
it’s already 7pm
and the audiences are coming here
therefore
we didnt have our rehearsal
but just did their best.
and i guessed
they did well
did they?!

other than having students
from our magic IG to perform
like rebecca, ryan and mathew
we also invited professional magicians
from Redefine Magic
like Jeremy pei, Jerome, carl
from Singapore Polytechnic
like baolong and melvin

this is the schedule of the day:

these are the comments from people
after the performance -
qian shu: (Mathew's part) can see
how he make the tissue 'fly'
because of the lightings
*got meh?!*

qian hui: (jerome's part) I like that guy because
his hair color very nice. And his linking rings also
very fast and good
*huh?! you only like his hair color? LOL*

grace: whole thing was quite good, but
a little too long.. lucky ur magicians didnt
burn down the whole TRCC
*haha.. ya i agree.. PHEW!*


i was at the backstage
enjoying the performance
done by the magicians
erm..
actually
not really 'enjoying' lar
coz everyone is crowded together
so dun really have the chance to
view the whole performance

anyway
my job is to be rebecca's assistance
where I have to help
rebecca dress up in her kimono attire
and also taking out her props
and put it on stage

the kimono's part
was damn tough and tiring la
coz i dunno exactly how to wear
so i have been doing it
over and over again
with the help of huimin and yu xiang
can you imagine the picture?

other than that
i think most of the time
at backstage
everyone was having fun together
watching the show

the BEST part of the performance i like is
jerome's and carl's
for Jerome
i have watched him doing his tricks
during one of the rehearsal
i like the way he performed
very confidence and prepared
and guess what
he is ONLY 16 years old!
younger than me
and he is already so good
he also damn rich la
coz he bought lotsa props
which is damn EXPENSIVE
for example the linking rings
which already cost $300+

for carl's
he is a very comedian magician
and he got lotsa interaction with the audience
which i am trying to learn

even though
there are some mistakes and accident
during the performance
like Jeremy pei's
the plant got fire?!
and played the wrong tracks for him
hahs..
could that be lack of rehearsal?

but anyway
we really did our best
and hope everyone did enjoy!
